The Future Financial Planning Profession-FPA

The call for a Royal Commission into institutionalized financial planning advice structure, is long over due.

Gone are the days when we, as Financial Planners have been measured as successful via product sales –  we measure success as a profession through the positive difference we make in the lives of our clients.

I agree with the FPA (Financial Planning Association of Australia), who have proposed to move our profession forwards with a ‘Ten Point Plan’.

The recommendations from the Senate inquiry supported the majority of our 10 points.
